Information You Need

You will need:

  • 100 Points of ID (Passport & Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence, Credit Cards recommended)
  • Verification of any rental or other income

If you are not an Australian resident, you also need:

  • Evidence of FIRB compliance

If you wish to Refinance, you need:

  • The most recent six months' worth of loan statements for all debts being refinanced (you may need 12 months worth of statements for some types of loans)
  • A copy of a Council Rates Notice or Certificate of Title (title particulars must be provided)
  • Discharge authority from you current loan provider (for example, your bank)

If you wish to Purchase, you need:

  • The most recent six months' worth of bank statements proving savings for the deposit
  • Copy of executed Contract of Sale (executed by all parties)

If your income is PAYG (or salaried if you or your partner are a non‐resident), you need:

  • Income Documentation
  • Your two most recent pay slips
  • Plus, one or more of the following:
P.A.Y.G. Payment Summary for the last two financial years
Australian income tax returns for the last two financial years
Letter signed by employer detailing title, duration, salary and status (full-time, etc.)
Current employment contract signed by employee and employer

If your income is from Self‐Employed work, you need:

  • Australian tax returns for both individual and business entities for the last two financial years (inclusive of balance sheet and profit and loss statement)
  • Tax assessment notice as required
  • Letter from your accountant certifying your accounts (in support of the above)
  • Confirmation of rental income for existing investment properties

If you will be utilizing Companies and/or Trusts as part of this loan:

  • Australian tax returns and tax assessment notices for the last two financial years (inclusive of balance sheet and profit and loss statement)
  • Australian tax returns and tax assessment notices for Directors/Guarantors for the last two financial years
  • Letter from accountant certifying accounts (independently obtained by you from the preparer)
  • Confirmation of rental income for any investment property (other than for any that you have not yet purchased)
